Fisher Park Neighborhood
Halloween Parade & Party -- October 2010
Our Oct 31, 2010 Halloween Parade and Party was the largest ever, with over 100 neighbors turning out in their finest spook attire!
Please share your thanks with
Rachel Cannon-Percival,
our Fisher Park volunteer
Children's Events Coordinator
who ensured a grand parade and party. She and several neighbors help create Happy Halloween memories for our
neighborhood children.
Last minute costume adjustments ...
... then our Halloween Parade begins!
A neighbor volunteered as a parade crossing guard, keeping little ladybugs and sheriff's safe.
Evidence of comfort and joy!
OK, there's a bit of trepidation about the journey ahead.
We arrive at the Temple in all manner of vehicles.
Time to play on the Temple lawn,
expending a blast of sugar-induced energy.
Fisher Park DADS and GRANDDADS earn extra credit for keeping our youngest Fisher Parker's happy!
<<<  If there'd been a prize for the
most creative reuse of cardboard boxes,
he surely would have won!
25 hot PIZZAS arrive and EVERYBODY's happy!
Thanks also to Temple Emanuel, allowing us to rent their lovely social hall for neighborhood events,
to Yvonne Cousino for transporting pizzas, to all who provided refreshments, helped set up and clean up,and
everyone who decorate their yards and doorsteps lighting our way for trick-or-treating
then home again to tuck in for a good night's sleep.
Dressed
in style,
head to toe!
Resting up for
Trick or Treating.
