Fisher Park Neighborhood
Park Work Day June 2011
Up and at 'em by 8:00 a.m. June 25, 2011
seventeen Fisher Park neighbors gathered for our summer Park Work Day,
eager to tackle the overgrowth on the western edge of
Fisher Park Jungle ... uhhh ... Circle.
After two hours of steady teamwork lopping, whacking, sawing, and carrying branches and vines to the street, the former jungle now looks like Fisher Park Circle should;
affording a lovely view into southwest Fisher Park.
Thanks to Fisher Park Park Committee CoChairpersons
Sally Atwood of Simpson Street and Carl Myatt of North Park Drive
for their constant clipper-ready encouragement.
They're beeming after todays volunteer accomplishments!
Here's who you may thank!!!
TEN residents of Delancey Street house on Elm Street turned out in force, alongside SEVEN other neighbors from Wharton, Eugene, Simpson, Victoria streets and North Park Drive.
